Drug abuse is rampant among the youth in Tijuana. We estimate that about 80% of the youth in one of the communities we work within use drugs. There are very few rehabs in Tijuana dedicated to working only with youth which is where Vencedores (Conquerors) is unique. Touch Baja, in partnership with Calvary CHapel Xochimilco, works to help youth break the chains of addiction by, first, leading them to a real relationship with Jesus Christ, which is the first and most important step. The second step is to start them on their life-long process of discipleship with the assistance of the church. The final step is to equip them to share their faith and disciple others.

Vencedores Ministry Components

• 3-9 month residential program, all daily needs provided.
• Daily Bible instruction and personal study times.
• Daily practical service for growth in living biblical truth.
• Lifeskills training to assist in integration back into community when they graduate from the program.
• Trade skills training (electrical, carpentry, plumbing).

• Participation in the local church to help assimulate them into Christian community.
• Continuing discipleship opportunities available in our Discipleship House.
